Questions

Is the paperback really free for title agents?

Yes. There's no card and no shipping charge. Arron packs each copy by hand and mails it to your office, and you get the ebook right away so you can start tonight. It's one copy per agency, US addresses only.

What does the title agent side cover?

Eight chapters, each one moment in the life of a signing seen from your desk: choosing notaries for more than price, sending an order a notary can say yes to, docs that arrive ready, what happens at the table you don't see, owning your side of a bad signing, scan-backs and funding, paying like a partner, and keeping your best notaries. It ends with tools for your desk, including a complete order checklist.

Why does the book have two front covers?

It's a flip book. One side is written for title agents and the other for notaries. The chapter numbers match, so Chapter 2 on your side and Chapter 2 on the notary side cover the same moment from opposite seats.

What should every signing order include?

Four things: the full signing location with any gate, door code, or security desk; a confirmed appointment time, not a window; a phone number for every signer; and special instructions like a power of attorney, a trust, witnesses, or a funding deadline. The phone number is the one most often missed. Chapter 2 explains why it matters so much.

Can my notaries read it too?

Yes. Flip your copy over and hand it to the notary you call most. Notaries can also get the free ebook at closedtogether.com/notary.

Arron Johnson

I wrote Closed Together for both sides of the closing table. Flip your copy over and you're reading the notary's half. Hand it to the notaries you work with, or read it yourself and see the signing from their chair.
